In this video-based CME activity, Robert Hardesty, MD demonstrates an abdominoplasty procedure on a mother of nine-pound twins who wished to restore her figure. Although abdominoplasty can be associated with a significant rate of complications, its popularity has increased as a means to address the post-partum abdomen which can manifest as loose, damaged, excess skin with irreversible rectus muscle diastasis and stretching. In these patients, abdominoplasty can be an optimal choice to regain a youthful physical appearance of the abdomen.
